FJ Parlan
FJ Parlan is a young freelance writer specializing in sports.
A Political Science graduate from one of the world's top 500 universities, his academic inclination suggests a different expertise, but among his various interests which he can write about, he discusses pro boxing and pro basketball most thoroughly.
He got his first online output published by Online World of Wrestling (formerly "Obsessed With Wrestling") when he was still very hooked with pro wrestling. His written work has since been featured in popular boxing sites Doghouse Boxing and Bad Left Hook.
He began regularly writing for pop culture site 411Mania as the correspondent for his country, an experience that has so far allowed him to interact with famous boxing notables like Paulie Malignaggi and Nate Campbell. He made an appearance in the internet podcast show "3 More Rounds" as part of the panel for 2009's biggest fight, Manny Pacquiao vs. Miguel Cotto.
He continues to write in 411Mania, where he has a column titled "The FJ Fury," but he now also writes for Suite101. His work continually gets featured in Philboxing (one of the top five boxing sites in the web) as well as Pacquiao's official website "Pacland."
